tranny cooler line
flushed out the cooling system yesterday and disconnected the tranny fluid line by accident. lost some fluid before I figured that I was stupid. put it back on and checked the tranny fluid level. added a bit and now thinking im finished. is this all I need to do. or is there something else to look out for. thanx richie
i did that. the fluid level was fine. just never had a cooler before in front of my rad. disconnected the wrong hose, saw red comming out and put it back. lost about a pint.
went throught the gears and ended in nutural. added some fluid. checked it twice and all seems well. was just wondering if adding the fluid was tied directly into the cooler. I traced the lines and I believe thats the case but figured Id check. sort of an expensive part. Alot more to the dodge then all the jeeps Ive owned, plus this is the first automatic Ive owned.
