Default MPG info

Just a heads up it is possible to get decent mpg with dakota's. On a recent trip I got 18.8 mpg, and 15.9 while pulling a motorcycle trailer. Nothing special done to the truck I use 93 octane, JBA exhaust and a modified air filter housing. It has a 5.9 and it is an AWD QC model. Just driving the speed limit.

you pretty much are getting above average with the 5.9 unloaded. why are you using 93 octane with such little mods?

It runs better with 93 the motor pings with 87. The timing may need an adjustmant. Also I buy gas on the Navy base and the quality of the gas is questionable.

timing cannot be adjusted, done via the computer... sounds like you're getting crappy gas.
