when you program it onto your truck it locks it so that you can't use it on another truck. say me and my friend both have daks and we buy one superchips it can only be used on one truck once its installed it locks that trucks vin on the programer so you can't use it on another one till you take the tune off.

 

means its already locked in to that specific vehicle. no good to you. i always wondered if some nerd is just buying up the locked ones then hacking and unlocking them and turning it around for a huge profit............. hmmmmm
