looking at it as an investment
purchasing a used low mileage 2008 model right now in this market
with the power up-rated and twin-plug revised 4.7 V8
and manual 6 speed trans
in the $12,000 to $14,000 range
and holding onto it for 15 years (or more)
is the most defensible investment I can think of
to get the increased power and torque
and the approximate 4% fuel economy increase

ok ya got me on that one, but look at the performance markets for the 4.7 compared to the 5.9............

Yeah your totally right on that part. The 5.9 is an old school motor so much easier to mod.
