Default brake thread? again?

i just got back from playing in the sand and i was noticing my brakes felt soft with a load of about 3000 lbs plus. does anybody else notice this? or know to improve it? my brakes feel perfect with no trailer. i use dot4 fluid with stock single piston calipers. maybe move up to two piston calipers? i dont need the end all to end all just need better with a heavy load.

could be you need to upgrade your brakes for towing. i know my fluid calls for DOT3. bleed your brakes first to see if that makes an improvement.

i would get rear disk brakes. It will help you out to stop, most of your breaking is done by the front.
