Default How to turn off child protection door locks

I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota 4X4 V8 and I want to turn off child protection door locks. It looks around 15 MPH. How do I turn this option off?

Thanks
CJ

I know on my 04. You cycle the key on and off ( i don't remember how many times) end with it on and then lock the doors. You should hear a conformation chime. I'll have to get my owners manual out.

Enter vehicle and close all doors.
Buckle up, seriously, it keeps the beeping down so you can tell which beep is right.
Place key in ignition.
Withink 10 seconds turn the key from on to off four times ending in the off positions.
Then "lock" the doors, with the power lock.

I take Paypal. *looks around*

Madison,

Thank you very much. I will try it this afternoon. Again, Thanks.

I will let you know how it works.

CJ

To check your engine codes:
Turn the key to ON (not start), OFF, ON, OFF, ON and leave it there. If you look in the odometer window the codes will flash any code(s) with a small delay between each result. Each code should be in a P#### format, and will say PDONE when completed - turn your key to OFF and remove. Use the OBD code list to determine what problem the computer detected.

To reset your engine codes:
Remove the negative terminal of your battery (10mm wrench).
Turn your ignition key to START and hold it there for about 15 seconds.
Turn your ignition key to OFF and remove it.
Connect the negative terminal of your battery
