im guessing that you are gonna get a frame of another dakota and make it a rolling and drop that and swap the bad,bed, and motor over so its easier to work on the drop

well, first highway test is done,
at low rpms all the difference is in throttle response, but i did see a drop in 55-70 time in 5th,
mid range rpms do have an increase in power, 40-65 times are down in 4th
high rpms are nuts, going 35, dropped it into 3rd (from 4), hammered and damn thing got up to 45 like a bullet,hit 4 foot still buried, she pulled like a mother going into 4, hit 65 and 5th in record time.

idle is smoothed out, starts around 1300, drops down to 1kish within the second and stays there.
