shes slippin more and more on me. it will miss shifts left and right, hit the rev limiter, go gear 'hunting', MOTHERF*CKER! i am really upset. hopefully it will last until christmas, so that a new one can be my Christmas present. well, anyone know where i can get a nice built trans? something not stock, but built to withstand some abuse and power. im gonna toss a 2400 at it while i replace it. . need some links guys, thanks.

 

I have a 97 truck I'm parting out that has the magnum v-8 with auto trans. Its stock so you may not be interested...but as a last resort =D

 

Build up a Torque Flight 904 and put that in.

id just bring the thing to a reputable shop that knows quite a lot about dodge transmissions. preferably one that rebuilds a lot of dodges. then you'd be set

check that place out and go to A518/46RE. I'm not sure if they rebuild your transmission or if you get a whole new trans though. Either way they put in better parts than stock.

 

probably would have to pay a core charge if that's part of their policy. just hope yours doesnt grenade, otherwise you're core is worth a paper weight.
