So I just recently picked up two Dakota's, the first being a 2003 with no power options and the V-6 engine, the second being a 1997 with all of the power options with the V-8 engine.

I am using the 97 as a parts vehicle (Seats and Headliner for the 03 mainly), but I started to wonder if I would be able to take the power options from the 97 and put them in my 03?

I.E. Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors, Cruise Control?

Another question I have is regarding the 97, it was involved in a front end collision, looks like the driver hit a pole or something. The engine starts but immediately dies. I'm assuming that this is due to the security system but I've tried disabling it using the left/lock right/unlock sequence without success. Is there something else I can try (I will try resetting the PCM tomorrow based on search results)? All of the wiring appears to be in good shape with the exception of the stereo harness that was cut out when the owner removed the radio after the accident.

If anyone wants to buy any parts from the 97 just let me know...I'll be putting them up on eBay tomorrow. From the motor/frame/cab/ and back the truck appears to be in great shape (Minus the missing seats and headliner...so far...)

and is the 97 a Club Cab?

i want the bed if i dont have any rust....

Located in Palm Bay, FL. The 97 is a Club Cab and the bed is in great structural shape (No dents or visible rust).

The front fenders aren't any good and have been removed so I could access the engine to see if it would start/run.
