Default new tire question??

I'm looking to buy hercules All trac A/T's for $395 or Terra Trac A/T for $489???

which would you get? I'm off-road fairly often but will be getting a new truck sometime in the next three years so im hesitant to spend close to $500

Welcome to the world of light truck tires. I just dropped almost $600 on a set of National Commando A/T's. Who actually makes the tires you're looking at? For example, my Nationals are made in the USA by Cooper. I wouldn't have even considered them based on the name alone, badass as it may be. Your local tire shop should be able to tell you. My guy had all good things to say about the National A/T, and so far he's been right.

Those toyos are sexy and Im VERY jealous varsis :P

I spent almost $700 on my yokohama geolander ATs, I hope they stomp thru the snow like my mud tires did or Ill be pretty pissed. The kuhmo MTs I used to have were $40 less a tire AND damn good looking. Nevermind that they were great off-road and in snow and ice.
