Default Has anyone made an air dam for their truck?

I think its called air dam lol, I really want to put one on but don't know where to get one. I know can help on gas just a little so I keep wanting to make one but not sure what to use for it.

I think that most aftermarket ones are polyurethane. you could use fiberglass...

It wouldn't be hard to fit one onto your car. If you have metal fab skills you could make your own....

the 8 inch deep black plastic 'lawn edging'
should be considered for the lower part
of a front air dam
as it so easy to replace
if damaged

the upper section
would be a bracket to hold
and bend to the proper arc
the lawn edging

the lawn edging has rounded section
that should be at the bottom
of the air dam

I just hope when I make one later on it looks ok lol.

Looks arent everything. I've seen some cars that look like ***, but perform like nothing else.






Kinda like a girl.... sometimes the dirty ones perform the best! hahaha

if you also add a partial 'belly pan' under the engine
the air dam can be located farther back
nearer the line between the front of the tires
.... in this position you almost can't see the air dam
