dang what do you need dana 70s for?

 

For running 500+HP on a rig thats 12"+ in the air on 44+ tires

 

which is probably pretty hard to do w/ a V6 huh?

i wonder if anyone has been able to fit a 5.9 Cummins I6 into a dak.. im sure they have, anyone got pics that you know about?

 

Check out the Banks Sidewinder truck. As far as I know, its a world record holder for a Dak.

 

o yeah i know about that one (for speed) i was just wondering if someone normal (aka w/out unlimited budget) had done the conversion

theres a green dakota with a 98 cummins block, i beleive a 98, 24 valve running around up in scranton pa. that s.o.b. is lifted pretty damn high to accommodate the engine under the hood without modifying the hood. the valve covers are about 4 inches from the top of the hood and the entire long block is about 36 inches from valve cover to base of oil pan, just guessing.

 

WOW that is pretty intense so does he have the engine hanging down from the engine compartment?
