Default 99 Dodge Dakota Engine stalling in Cold Weather

Have a 99 dodge dakota 6Cyl 3.9L Base that runs great when the weather is 50 degress or warmer. Once below 50 degrees, it runs fine for a few minutes then if i get below 2000 rpm, it stalls out unless I give it gas. Going down the highway and driving it runs fine in cold weather. When coming to a stop sign or red light and slowing down, it will start to stall. It's like no fuel it getting to the engine. Is this some O2 sensor error? My check engine light doesn't come on, so maybe the light could be out.
