I have a video of my truck but its on a mini DV and I have no idea how to put it on the computer. can anyone help me out?

i have an account on youtube under the same name here has videos of my cummins club cab 8ft bed not doing dohnuts but check them out the wheels for all for were about 80 bucks with centercap and chrome lugs so x4 would be 320 the tires i got used from a friend they still had the nipples on them put them on his truck and it cracked the frame so it just sat for a year till i told him i need the tires 225 for all 4

i think you need a firewire with a mini dv not exactly sure what a mini dv is lol but i know my dad needed to get a firewire for his video camera to put the video's on the pc and funny you guys say that about donuts in a long bed dak my friend had a 95 long bed dak that he would do donuts in all the time quite hilarious actually haha

mac or windows? the biggest thing is just getting a firewire cable and running it into your computer, then transfer the video from the mini dv, edit how you want and (hopefully you have abig harddrive since mini dv footage is huge) post it up on youtube.

when you are done editing it just make sure you export it to a file on your computer so that you can make it work, if you don't export right, it wont work right

mini dv is just the name of the tape that the majority of camcorders use (like a really really small VHS)

are you talking about form a cam corder that is using a sd card or pro duo ? all cameras use different typs of connecting to a computer most commonly a mini usb you do not need firewire no need for that typ of speed for such tiny files i am a computer tech and have been for close to 5 years now



anyway i got my new front bumper ordered along with my cai i bough the short one to see how that works also i got me a 12x15 red/or white decal idk what color for the rear window

the video, if it is on a tape (mini dv) it won't transfer on a firewire cable. yes you are correct that a memory card video can be transfered via USB but if he did in fact put it on the tape, USB doesn't do you any good.
