only way the key dance is going to work is if you have an active code, wont pull a historic code.

OK still don't have a clue. I ahve changed and cleaned everything I can think of or that has been suggested, so I still feel like it is electrical somehow. I have 2 mechanic friends brainstorming trying to help me. 1 of them wants to know if the cam pos. sensors are magnitized because he has seen older sensor loose their magnitism and start acting up. Anybody ever heard of anything like this?

Yeah, the end of crank and cam sensors have a magnet on them that makes the whole thing work, but I haven't heard of them losing magnetism.
Have you changed the MAP sensor? I have seen a similar problem before with stalling and rough idle with no codes and took a guess on a bad MAP and it smoothed it right up. They are almost impossible to diagnose because the PCM only shows "T-MAP" or the calculated MAP voltage on the scantool.

Wasn't 100% on the magnets either, but didn't figure it would hurt to ask. No I have not changed the MAP sensor. Thought for sure a MAP would throw a code that's what has me confused because if I cut power then turn it back on and it won't do it again until just outta nowhere it'll do it again. I was gonna take it in to have a diagnostic done, but don't want to spend the money for them to hunt & peck and tell me it'll cost another $xxx (don't have such a great Dodge dealer here). I was hoping a code or something solid would happen so I could fix it myself.
