Default DIY Questions- Fuel pump, tie rods, shocks

Howdy folks,

I've recently been quoted $1900 to install a new fuel pump, shocks, and inner/outer tie rod ends. The shop has told me the prices for parts, and of course they are doing the usual high mark-ups. For the fuel pump, for example, they have quoted me a price higher than MSRP. So I'm thinking about attempting these myself.

Can anyone tell me how difficult these jobs are without a lift? Special tools?

don't think you need anything special. TRE's are just a threaded ended, so that simple and im sure napa has them at like 30 bucks or so.

Fuel Pump try napa again. Reconditioned pump, half the price plus you get some money back when you return an old unit in.

Shocks simple too. All in all expect 600 + in parts.

200 for pump, 200 for new shocks, and 60 for TRE's and the little extra is for my price difference lol.

Not sure on your year but just by a quick search:

and ebay might have cheaper too.
