Power steering leak...cheap remedy?

helllo all,

My power steering fluid leaked out entirely the other day in a matter of 4-6 hours. Is this something a "stop leak" bottle will fix or is it to fast of a leak. Also how long do i have running w/o fluid till the pump goes out?

thanks

cody

you gotta find and fix that leak, wont be long before your pump goes out

mine leaks a bit at the line connections at the power steering rack. find your leak, flush the system and put mopar atf4 into the system. supposedly it's supposed to help the system run cooler or w.e chrysler said. they're a bunch of crazy bastards anyway.

well i know it needs to be fixed...but is it gonna blow if i drive it 10 miles to get it fixed? and what i really need to know is weather the stop leak has god like qualities or not?

thanks again

Do not use the stop leak!

stop leak wont fix that, but you'd probably be ok driving it 10 miles to get it fixed.

find the leak and cut the hose were it is then put a peice of hose in between clamp it and your good to go
