Default a/c question...

2000 v6 4x4.... ac compresser cycles constantly! what causes this? i know they do ocationally but this is every few seconds... thanks in advance! i need this fixed asap! its 22 degrees out! hahaha

Usually it means the freon is low which is probably caused by a freon leak somewhere. Too much AC cycling can also be caused by a bad AC compressor. A good mechanic can do a leak test and tell you for sure. The heater also cycles the AC to help the defroster work.
