Ok so I know this has been beaten to death with the 3.9s but after many a search i have yet to find if this would be possible with mine. I have the 04 dakota with a 3.7L and want to know if i can take the TB off of a 4.7L and put in mine. and if its possible will it help any is there a big difference between the 4.7 TB and the 3.7 TB?

not sure what the 3.7 tb's are but the 4.7's are 65mm untill 00 or 68mm for 01 and up if you can take a pic of yours i can tell you if they at least look the same

My brother has and 04 with the 4.7l, he came down from wyo. for christmas and I measured the inside diameter of his TB and it is exactly the same as the one on my 3.7l. the mounting is a little different so i couldnt swap them out but I dont need to now that i know they are the same size.
