Default new owner with question

hello all i just recently bought an 04 dakota with the 4.7 v8. big step up from my 3.0 toyota truck. i have a couple of questions, my check engine light is on and it show a p0300 and p0308. i pulled the plugs and they have seen better days. if i replace them that should solve my misfire and also does anybody know of any recalls or problems that the 04's have had. thanks for any info.

yeah lets see here, just for future reference there is a sticky at the top of this section with CEL codes but for the

p0300: (M) Multiple Cylinder Mis-Fire Misfire detected in multiple cylinders

p308: P0308 (M) Cylinder #8 Mis-Fire Misfire detected in cylinder #8.

yeah new/better plugs should help you with that misfireing problem and the easiest way to check for recalls, etc is to plug the last 6 or 8 digits of your VIN into the dodge website so you can see if the recalls were performed on your truck or not... for problems, i have an 01 and haven't had any problems

cheers and welcome to the forum
