did the seafoam thing
ok, i changed my oil today and while i was wrenching i decided i might as well do the seafoam into the intake trick...
did it like i've heard to do it dozens of times...
got a nice big nasty cloud when i pulled out of the driveway, it was done totally by the time i got 5 houses down the street....
i guess all the crap i've been doing has cleaned up the insides pretty well

the car eh? wow batty, he's insulting ya since you have a 4 banger. when i did the seafoam with my truck.. i did half a can through the vac line.. only hazed out of my tailpipes for a minute, that was it. that was the first time i did it too.. nice and clean engine.. great success.
what cleaner do you use, only stuff that shows any difference at all for me is the lucas treatment

ok first of all i hope you're not running seafoam in the oil except for maybe a few minutes before you change the oil. That stuff will thin out your oil and its fine to use in the oil as long as you're going to change the oil afterwards.
second of all, run the seafoam thru the vacum line and then turn it off and let it set for a good hour, then go out and start it up... I guarantee you will get alot more smoke than you did. the first time I did a seafoam treatment I let it set for like 4 hours and nearly smoked out the neighborhood when I started it up.
