o2 sensor
My '98 v6 has been throwing a C.E. light for the downstream o2 sensor. It will come on and then after a couple of starting cycles it will go off. I checked everything with my multimeter, and it all checks out ok. So I know the problem is the sensor itself. Now the hard question: the prices for these things is all over the place...WHERE CAN I GET A CHEAP ONE!!!!!

no such thing as a cheap one.....if you get a universal you have to cut and splice. if you get the one that's not univ all you do is remove install and plug in.....take like 5 mins....just did mine not too long ago.....got it at autozone i think for like 60 buck.....but it's still cheaper than one for my car which they are 100
Try to stay away from Bosch. For some reason, their o2 sensors get a bad rap.
But try to stay away from the universal sensors.
NGKs brand NTK sensors are supposed to be good.

speaking of O2 sensors, i have a 1998 5.2 V8 with a flowmaster exhaust and my next step i wanna do is to delete the cat. my question is seeing there is a sensor right on that cat does anyone know where i can get an O2 sim for a good price?
