1998 going dead immediatly after starting

That is twice now I have heard that. What is too tight? Is there any kind of lube to kepp it moving freely? I kinda have an issue like this, but not as bad (yes I already bought a new TPS).

yes it'll throw a code any time its removed, thats why you reset the pcm. all im saying by not too tight is just get it snug, it doesnt have to be as tight as you can get it. if it is too tight it will mess with the voltage. and yes it could also be your IAC. go to the tips and tricks on the stickys in this section and there is a write up on how to clean the IAC.

not cool myn just started doing this i had already replaced the tps and map and cleaned the iac about 1000 miles ago i threw some dry gass in it to see if it will help its been about -30 here so that may be the prob
