so YEAH!! my truck started making a new noise today!!!

It sounds like a loud clicking or snaping sound that gets faster as I accelerate. If I am just coasting or accelerating slowly, it doesn't make the sound. I think I remember this sound last time I had to replace the ujoints and it kind of sounds like its coming from back there.

Anybody agree with my diagnosis?

 

it sounds like possibility. crawl under there and give it a good shake, see if its got play in it.
