I have a 99 Dakota sport std cab (3.9 V6). I have 31 x 10.5 on 15's and i want to know what the max size tire i can have. I have heard that this is the max size without and form of lift. I dont want them to rub at all.

Also what size rim would do well with the tire options. I drive on and off road, so i need a tire size suitable for both. I dont off road that much so on road is main concern. is a 15x8 rim ok for the 31x10.5 tires? last question is there a rim that i could put the 31 x 10s on now and then 33 x 12.5 on later with out sacrificing saftey and looks?

oh and if i stay with the 31's im looking at these tires. Someone that reviews things for jeeps BEAT these things repeatedly and they were still in great condition. I was just looking for feed back on these tires. Just wanted to see what you all think.

 

if youre got 15x8s you should be able to go with a 32x11.50x15 with no lift. 33s will need some kind of lift or some trimming to fenders and lower valance etc. daks usually need a 3 inch body lift for 33s. or u could use blocks or an add a leaf in the rear and crank up the torsion bars up frt. to clear but you will still have to do some trimming to prevent rubbing. hope this helps

 

I don't know about the size issue, but the tires are great. I just recently bought Kuhmo Venture AT's for my 04 quad cab dak. I love the way they look and ride. You can't stop em in the snow!! And you can't beat the price either...
