Default New front wheel bearing going bad???!!!

What are the odds of the front axel bearing assembly going bad?
We just had the front right bearing assembly replaced by Chrysler last week, and it completely cleaned up the front end noises we were having. We have driven maybe 200-300km tops since the replacement.
Yesturday noticed the start of the same noise as before the replacement, tonight while driving it got progressivly worse, I turned left and right as I drove to load the front left and right bearings. Same thing as before the new assembly, the noise would stop as I swerved back and forth.
Then, as I'm driving I hear instantly, a very high pitched noise/squeal for maybe two seconds then goes away instantly. I drive another 5km, same thing happens.
When I get home I throw a handfull of snow through the rim onto the left front brake/axel area, a small amount of steam comes out. I go to the right side wheel, doing the same with the same amout of snow (a handfull), whooosh, alot of steam comes rushing out....
Is there anything else there besides the new bearing going bad???

I know it's hard to answer without being there hearing it yourselves, but would you think it's alright to drive it another 15-20 minutes, to get it to the dealership?

they may blame you for neglecting to have it towed to the dealership, how far away is the dealership from your house?

about a 10 mile drive.. hmm.. id call the service department and tell them you're hearing the same exact noise again and you are going to bring it in first thing.
