Dakota cranks but wont start?

good point, what are your plugs gapped to?

Heh, no idea. I've only had the truck for about a week. :P

I had a knowledgeable friend look at the truck today. He said it's pretty obvious the cat needs to be replaced, so we're going to start there.

pbbbt....

change the sensors on your throttle body, all 3
IAC, MAP, and the TPS, guarantee you it'll start and run 25.3 times better

in order clockwise, from my thumb,
IAC,(idle air controller,)
TPS, (throttle position sensor)
MAP, (mass air pressure)

do the MAP, then IAC, then TPS
then go from there

it wont be cheap, but you will replace them all soon enough

i thought MAP stood for Manifold Absolute Pressure....
