Default Need 98 3.9L PCM Connector & Pin IDs

Hi,
New to forum. Don't know which gen my 98 falls into. Just bought it and found the check engine light on for bank1 O2 sensor. Looked at sensor upstream of cat converter and found four loose wires and no socket connector to plug them into. (Have not yet done a thorough search for the harness connector for the O2 sensor).
Haynes manual indicate the O2 sensors input should feed into PCM at C1: pins 24, 4 & 25. How can I ID Connector 1 and pins 24, 4 & 25 on that connector? It was not clear in the Haynes manual. I would like to replace the O2 sensor and make the appropriate connections b/c I'm getting lousy power at highway speeds and crappy gas mileage (13.6 mixed).
Thanks!
James

The '98 is second gen. 1st gen is '96 and older. I dont know where the o2 sensors are on the 2nd gens but on the 1st gen that connector should be floating around near the transmission. As for identifying the pins, I have no idea, and I don't know how you would follow them back to the connector if you did indentify them, but good luck!

If you unplug the connector at the pcm there's tiny numbers on the outside pinhole of each row to help you.

Varsis,
Thanks! that's the ticket. Hope I can locate the harness wire / connector that the O2 sensor is supposed to plug into. That would be the best scenario.
