It was under the off-road section and now it is gone. I posted here then it was moved over there. Just wanted a place where only 4X4's talked a little shop or about a cool place the went off-road, just stuff specific to 4X4's. The R/T could get a thread as well. Do you guys think that is a useless idea? I had been noticing that all the meet-ups around here are mostly R/T guys and kinda wanted to compare apples to apples.

Don't get me wrong, I love this forum. Just a thought.

Default New Momma looking for some answers..

I just bought a 99 Dodge Durango 4x4 SLT v8 w/abs and i love it! However, I'm having a couple issues...

1st- The abs and e-brake lights are coming on and staying on for no apparent reason. The lights do go off after I've parked and turned the ignition off but will come on again while driving at any given time.

2nd (and I believe this prob and the fore mentioned must be related)- The cruise control works sometimes and other times not.

3rd- It feels like the brakes aren't disengaging completely. When I use the brakes, with or without a lot of force, I have to give it gas to move forward after wards. It feels like the e-brake is only partially disengaged, for example.

I would really appreciate any input you guys may have to help me resolve these issues!

Thanks,
~L

Sometimes an ebrake will stick. I think there should be an adjust on it somewhere.

Your electrical issues could be the PCM, not positive though. Some others will come on here and be able to tell you.
