hey just curious what u guys use for jack'n up your 4x4's. the jack that i got with my truck can't even get teh wheels off the ground at full lock. the guy i bought it from says its the one that came with it and he always had to use a block of wood extra. i want to get one but not sure what is a decent one. i heard of tube ones but not sure. need something small enough for the truck. just in case

 

I use a michelin 3 ton floor jack. I dont think I've ever used a factory jack on anything.....

 

i tink he means a portable one for incase he gets a flat, in which case i have no help(that is the only thing i use the jack that came with the truck for),


but if johnny is right, i agree the 2-4 ton floor jacks are great we have 2 of them and you just cant go wrong with them

 

i got a cylinder jack from canadian tire.

lifts 30 some odd inches I think? Fits under the seat in the back so it's good.

 

You can get a mechanical farm jack from Tractor Supply for about $50. There is a write up about it in the main off-road section.

 

i carry a floor jack and jackstands in my truck, works great
