Tranny didnt get fixed, so now im spending 2k...
Well, as some may know i pulled my tranny replaced front seal and TC and reinstalled over a 4 day period, after i got everything running correctly, it was still leaking out the same damn place, so i wasted 2 floating holidays at work, and 80$ to fix it, so once i saw that it was not fixed, i said F IT im getting a built tranny...
Soooo, i got some few suggestions from people on what shops to look for. I found the perfect one, the owner is a MOPAR FREAK and one of the builders helped design with crysler 45+ years exp or somthing. I was refferd to this place by a guy that knew a guy on another forum that built his tranny for a 408ci 6.7L Dakota.. i think he has a 727 basicly the same thing as a A518/46re which is what is in the R/Ts cept ours has OD and the 727 does not.
This the setup im going to be running in the new tranny, i can turn OD OFF and the tranny will run as if it where a 727, and when i turn OD ON it will work as a 46re/A518 and give me my 4th overdrive gear for highway driving.
With the transgo stage 2 ill be able to manually shift 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at any rpm like a manual, and while in drive with od off it will shift at 5500 with firm solid shifts.. with nitrous this is going to be sick and a 2600-2800 stall... my low end torque is going to be rediculous...
i cant wait, its going to cost about 2200-2400 for the truck to get towed to the shop and everything built and put together, after its all said and done the tranny alone with the VB teaks and stall alone should grant me close to .5secs off my et if i get traction... 1/2 a second faster with just a tranny... is sick, with the 100-150 shot with 325 drags and caltracs i better lift this monster off the ground a tad! hahaha
Im excited, and once i get the tranny out of the way, its back to the other plans i had, SCT Tuner, LM2 Wideband, and get my **** painted and fuel rails installed....

Date with girl went well, but she only wants to be friends.. so **** that...
Why the hell would a girl, accept an offer of a date with someone she does not like... makes no since, and i dont want to sit here and chase her around, i have better things to do like... work on my truck and **********.
Yeah something like that.
ill let them fix it.. im not dealing with it anymore.
With the build and a stall, the efficiency of the tranny will be better then a stock auto, meaning ill be close to the efficiency of a manual, not 100% but close, with a built tranny and correct gearing, autos are actually voted better for drag racing then manuals at the track.. so i will be excited, with the higher efficiency i should show a boost in hp/tq to the rearend meaning im getting closer to my goal of 500rwhp with juice.
and i dont have to worry about a clutch or missing a gear... lol! Even the best stick drivers sometimes mess up, but an auto does it all for me while i just push the pedal to the floor and wave good bye with my spare hand and wiggle my spare foot out the window with my shoe off...
