hey everyone i was thinking about buying a 99 dakota extended cab 2wd 5spd with 4cylinder engine thats blown. i was wondering if its possible to swap out the 4cyl for a 6cyl engine without havin to change a whole lot of stuff cause i have been searching for an engine and can't find one for it. any help about 4cylinder to 6cylinder swap would be greatly appreciated thanks.

 

youre better off going to a v8, more power, same fuel economy as the v6. this is another highly discussed topic on this forum. search "engine swap" and you should be good. if varsis chimes in, he will give you the full details about everything.
