no, magnum for the 2004 year and later. its a rename anyway, so it doesnt count... if i couldnt get a v8 or am stuck with a v6, i rather have a 3.9 v6 due to reliability and the reputation of the 318. o look i got one. and yeah, definitely embarrassing to get your as* handed to ya by the v6 wonder . my word is god

big bryant im relatively sure my 01 v6 could beat your truck. you've got an extra axle to turn and alot of extra weight compared to mine. My buddy's 4.7 sport single cab only takes me by a truck length 0-60.

oh **** i forgot yours is a 5 speed, but still.... get off your high horse

lol i'm not on a "high horse"... my truck is quick but by no means fast... i just love giveing people with V6's **** even if i got beat by a built V6 i would respect it for what it is but still personally prefer the sound of a small block V8...

to each his own IMO

i prefer a v8 too, but i would rather have a real v8. not something with no distributor and a plastic intake manifold.
i would just like to add, my truck is in no means "built". just a few bolt ons, but im still sure if i had a superchips and some 1.7 rockers i could beat my friend's 4.7 auto, and thats just embarassing.
in fact, im not sure that anyone in this section has a built engine aside from maybe user, but i know he's still using the stock 360 rotating assembly. Maybe he has aftermarket heads, i dont know... he's still pretty fast though.
