truck starts/ but dead
So, 2002 dakota 4.7
so, im sitting at the busiest intersection in my town, im first to turn, and theres atlleast 30 cars behind me,. its a steady intersection, its never slow.
so, sitting there, light goes green, i give it gas, NOTHING.
wtf i think. i turn it off, with cars behinhd me, start it again, acts like everythings working, then everything dies.
starts fine, radio works, windows, etc, but truck wont move
so i called my parents, called a tow truck, who get their extremely fast.
i just got the truck in november, 2 year mechanical warranty. but i have that feeling its the fuel pump, which I DONT THINK is covered
any other ideas?

is the truck idling at all or is it stalling out? if its jsut idling and youre giving it throttle and its not doing sh*t. i personally without a doubt would say its the throttle position sensor. but any good technician will test the tps before it's replaced
