I bought a 97 dakota yesterday and it has heating problems which would be no heat. So I put a new tstat in it with no luck then I saw the forum and did the heater core flush. Now I get hot air when I hold down the throttle but when it goes to idle I have no heat. I have no water presure at my house so should I try it with a nozel on the hose to get alittle presure? Any ideas??? thx

 

did you try running the water in both directions?
pressure shouldnt have too much to do with it, since if theres any blockage it would cause its own pressure then break loose,

but it does sound like you might have a blend door problem,
