check out this website and you might be able to figure it out... it will take some trial and error but you will be able to plug in numbers and might be able to figure out your speed vs. rpm's helping you figure out your ratios.

Gear 46RE - 42RE & 44RE
1st 2.45 2.74
2nd 1.45 1.54
3rd 1.00 1.00
4th 0.69 0.69

Transfer case is the part time NV 231 with a low range of 2.72:1.

Rear axles are the 9.25-inch (R/T only?) and 8.25-inch. Ratios - 3.21, 3.55 and 3.92 - are available. Both exles are available with limited-slip differential too.

The key trick works on Dodge trucks and cars prior to 2000. However; the code does not show up at the odometer, the check engine blinks in a series of codes. If it blinks 5 times stops then 5 more then there are no more codes. It works as early as 1990. It worked on my 1990 ramcharger and my 1994 dakota

My 98 shows the code. Im pretty sure they started that in 97.

maybe it is an obd-2 thing which started in 96?

I have a 2001 dakota 4.7 and I keep getting p0138 and p0158 both down stream o2 sensors high voltage and I have the spacers in for them. My cats are bad so I put the spacers in to help and now when I get to half a tank of fuel or lower my engine light throws these two codes and when I fill,up and start my truck back up the light is off. Need advice on what could be the problem. Thanks in advance.
