Default S/c 3865????

check this out, i was lookin at the 3815 on summit and the are not available, so on the bottom there is an 'alternate part' link and it took me to this. best of all, it says you CAN adjust the shift points and firmness! IDK, i'm skeptical..... thoughts? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...=1#Application

i would take a look at what the superchips site says about the 3865... i haven't ever heard of that before...

if it seems true/legit, then that would be a pretty beefy mod IMO

thats strange, if you go to view all applications there are tons of them. including 3.9's. and for the 2wd 3.9 automatic it says it can adjust shift points too.
there must be something up with that thing.... theres no way it can adjust shift points.

after further investigation, i dont think any of those exist yet. i think they are going to be released soon though. if you add one to your cart on summit it says they are temporarily out of stock but expect to get some at the end of this month. there are none of them for sale anywhere else.

that would be truly badass. what was keeping them from changing shift points and firmness this long? why wasn't it just a part of the previous models??

I couldnt take it anymore... I emailed superchips to try to find out exactly what the hell is going on. They will probably pussyfoot around if they havent announced the release of this product yet. They wouldnt want people to quit buying the 3815 because it's still available on their website.

Summit is great. I live like an hour from the huge summit store in Tallmadge OH. Actually, I'm gonna be going there in April for a Dakota meet.
