This is my first post so if I'm in the wrong place I apologize. Anyway, I just bought a 2002 Dakota and the radio is shot and I'd like to get a working one but don't know what years will fit my truck.

So... what year radios will fit my 2002?

BTW, I want one with a cassette slot so I can plug in my iPod so if you have one you're not using I'm interested to buy.

i think 01-04 dakotas had the same connections/faceplate

and also keep in mind the 01-03 durangos had the same interior also

 

IF you can figure out that the 2000 works, I have my old one laying around.

 

if the faceplate ont he radio is rounded ont he end, the radios SHOULD fit, but if the radio opening has square corners then its a no go, thats the best way to explain it w/o seeing pictures

 

also, some have 2 connections, some only have one.

 

I have mine out of my 01 dakota. It has a cassette slot. Im not certain but I think the connectors are different between 01 and 02

 

I have a radio/cassette out of my 01 basically brand new. i'll sell it to you if you're interested. Let me know if you want me to take a picture so you can see how the connections work.
