Please help, No Spark, Codes P0505
Hey guys, I have been lurking the forums for sometime now and now I signed up because I really need help.
I have a 2000 2.5 Dakota, its a work truck and I need it to work!
It wont start, it has no spark, the ASD shutts down a few seconds after key-on. I tried jumping the ASD but I will get power to coil but STILL no spark.
I scanned it, with a ELM 327 and a few different softwares, I get codes P0443 and P0505. Would these codes(IAC Valve and EVAP Circuit) cause the ASD to shut down? Could a short from these systems cause the ASD to shut off?
I have looked all over, opened up alot of wires, but cant seem to find anything, what should i look for? PLEASE HELP! Thanks in advance and I would appreciate answers.
