Default Need help changing 2000 4.7 A/C Compressor

Gotta change my compressor and I've never changed one before. I have the 134 and the ester oil. What is the best way to get the oil into the compressor? Does it have a drain hole or a fill hole?

I put the oil in mine thru the openings for the ac hose connections on the new compressor.

system needs to be recovered... have a shop recover the refrigerant, bring it home, put on your new compressor. bring it back to be recharged. it's illegal to vent r-134a into the atmosphere
