Default Add a leaf Helper Spring

I was looking at these.

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

They are inexpensive and they are a small helper spring. I'm not looking for 3000lbs worth of extra help because that would be stupid. I am looking a little something extra just to help out.

Anybody use these? I mean, can't beat the price!

Comments? Ideas? Other add-a-leafs that I can install in a driveway?

Add A Leafs are great. But that exact one has a low weight increase. 1,000lbs more is a good number to hit without going crazy. Air shocks would be best for 1,000 or less. They are adjustable. VERY easy to adjust. Just get an air hose and fill her up or release the valve and air it down. Easy to install, just remove and install the new shocks, run the lines. Easy quick connects. Everything is included. The best part they are $80 or so. Checkers/ Advance would be the place to get them locally.

Batman, you had them? You liked them? I'm not cornered at all about ride quality. If I was I would have bought a Cadillac.

And Crazy4x4RT, I'm not really looking for air shocks. They are great, and really help when you do a lot of heavy lifting, but I don't do it very often anymore. I'm really just looking for something to help keep the back off the ground when I do put something heavier back there.

Maybe these are a little better?

How easy are these things to install? Do I jack up the frame and take the weight off the axle then bolt them on? Or do I have to unbolt the leafs?
