Im looking to put the best headder to my 04 Dakota V8 4.7 4wd quad cab with a flowmaster 40 dual 2.5" coming out with 4" tips stainless and a K&N. There are so many brands I dont now which one to buy the brands I have found are GIBSON, JBA, & HEADMAN HEDDERS and the materials they are made from are stainless steal and the coatings are natural or coated.

stock 4.7 manifolds are pretty good flow wise if you'd wanna spend your money elsewhere..

yeah 4.7 arent really lacking in stock exhaust like the 5.2 and the 5.9. you could spend that money somewhere more productive if you wanted unless your going to get pretty serious with it you could let the stock manifolds sit for a while. and just FYI the 4.7 arent too n2o friendly so maybe HO cams or an intake or a TB to start.

single cams usually aren't n2o friendly.

yeah but i have heard that the intake on the 4.7 combined with the type of piston they used that seats the rings higher than usual, makes for a bad nitrous tolerance.
