I was part of a freaking hit and run on i-35 yesterday and now my back bumper is a little twisted up lol. I am trying to find a cheap replacement for possibly under 200.00 when I get the time. Any help would be nice.

 

well if its that fubared, could always take a rubber mallet and beat it some what back into shape.. ive also seen rear bumpers made outta wood.. haha

 

build one, than find whoever hit and ran you and ram em with it lol. 1/4" steel even 3/16 should do it lol. and if anyone ever does again well than they will see all the damage not you maybe a little paint on the bumper but thats about it. lol

 

is yours chrome or painted? I'd try calling junkyards first...

Junk yard should have them. I want a new one due to rust on mine and cant find any ones that are in good shape with little to no rust. I found 4 at one small junk yard with little surface rust if you dont mind that then you should be able to call any junk yard and find one. Making one is a good idea too I have home made steel tube bumpers on my 85 ram and you cant hurt them when my uncle had the truck he was rear ended by a suv and it chipped the paint off the bumper a little bit but the lady that hit him needed whole front clip for her suv about 4-5,000 worth of damage. Then last winter I was driving and hit a patch of ice doing around 25 and hit a tree didnt bend the bumper but bent the mounting bracket a very small amount.
