Default 02 QC new PCM now dings problem

Hello Everyone

This problem is with my 02 Dakota QC 4X4 with 5.9L and rear wheel ABS

About two weeks ago the truck just died going down the road. Problem was diagnosed as a bad PCM. New PCM ordered and installed, truck started right up.

Now the problem is that both the ABS and Brake lights are on and about thirty seconds after I start the truck it makes a series of loud dings. Neither of the lights were on before the PCM went bad. The guy at the shop said the ABS was saying the tonal ring was out of range.

Any idea how to fix this and get the dings to stop and the lights to go out?

Thanks,
Peter

I have this same problem. I put a 5.9 pcm in my truck to run my 5.2, and I get the ABS and Brake Light after a lil while as well. It doesnt come up with any other PCM though.

+1 for an answer
