got an extra 5.9 throttle body and a set of 5.9 (red) injectors, would it be worth the time and effort to put these on my 5.2? any conflicts? any gains? what do ya'll think?

 

throw them on my 3.9

 

if you did it would be a complete waste of time, they're exactly the same as whats on your 5.2.

The 5.2 and 5.9 are the same motors, the 5.9 is just a over bore version of the 5.2. They use all the same boltons, injectors, and tb...

an upgrade for you would be a true 50mm Tb or 52mm TB, the stockers off the 5.2 and 5.9 are 50mm but are really 48mm.

stock inujectors should be 19 or 21lb injectors, a set of Ford Mustang PI injectors will be an upgrade for yours, 24-26lb, but if your close to stock upgrading injectors wont be much help at all. Upgrading injectors should only be done when your running to lean or are blown or using n2o.

You can sell that TB for about 30-50$ online or local, and if the injectors are good, im sure you can get some money from those also.

That's not in the form of a question. If us V6'ers show up, consider them sold. I plan to feed my 5.9 TB to the die-grinder after school ends and I go home.

i live in azle, supposed to go run my wifes gtp at dinasuar dyno day on the 30th (my ls1 truck buddy and i have a tuning business, lots of possible business there!) what time and where at, i would love to hang around some mopar heads for a change!!!!

 

Its in Grapevine, i live out in Justin behind the Texas Motor Speedway. Azle is about a 30min drive for me. I use to date a girl out in Azle.
