Default Headers on a 5.2 dakota

Hi,

I have just bought a used 1998 5.2 4x4 dakota. The previous owner modified the truck quite a lot, incluiding flotech headers (Flowtech 91945-1FLT) and also deleted the cats.

The truck sounds amazing but i wonder if the headers are adding some power to the engine. I don't have how to compare it with another dakota because this is my first one and i really wouldn't like to go to the dyno just to satisfy my curiosity.

Any member with experience adding headers to the 5.2 could chime in and let me know if they make a difference?

Thanks

well, that exhaust definately isnt going to hurt anything performance wise as long as your o2's are functioning properly and its not set up stupid. without a baseline run, you'll never really know the benefit of the headers and exhaust.
