Hell yea bro, I got the same thing but a 97. So far everything has been fine. Check all your joints and such. We bought ours with blown tie rod end boots and didnt know. Plus I hear Daks are notorious for eating ball joints.
Make sure 4x4 works, just drive it down a straight road for a short distance. If you have trouble getting into a Tcase gear, it may be the linkage. The shifting is very close and easy, don't let it scare you.
Um. Make sure it has a jack and spare lowerer and make sure the spare lowerer isnt frozen up.
Test the parking brake, you never know. (And the pads/shoes when you get it home)
That is all I can think of.

When I was buying my 98 5.2 v8 4x4 auto. I tested everything out lights,cruise,4x4 and even cig lighter and so on. Check for any leaks on the engine, tranny, axles, transfer case. I took sockets and took the air hat off to see if there was oil in it and took a couple of the spark plugs out to see if they were changed recently. Check every square inch of it. I wish I would of done a little bit more looking before I bought it but still over all its a good truck. You should have no problems with that truck the 5.2s are good engines and are great paired up with a 5 speed.

Yeah like dodgeramguy said go through everything. If anything doesn't like just right talk to the guy and find out why and what is wrong. If it seems fishy don't do it. It will always come back to kick you in the @ss. But if it does seem good and you can't find anything wrong than go for it. But never buy something that already has something wrong with it. It will never end up good.
