so are these cowl hoods for sale actually functional? Or is it sealed off at the end?

totally functional
theres a screen on the back but it does work as a cowl hood

Yea, that's good, mine is actually functional as well. IMO cowl hoods are better to have than ram air hoods. ram air doesn't really do anything unless ur goin really fast. Cowl can actually help reduce temps as well...but to each his own. I personally dig my cowl hood. It just seems to have more of a flow with the front end.

I like the shaker better but its either the hood, the color of it or its just the pic but it looks small. As far as choosing cowl or ram air its a tough decision for me cause I like the look of both.
