T-bar crank plus more!!!
So I just got back from studying abroad in London about two weeks ago and I almost immediately began work on the dakota. I cranked the torsion bars and added 2inch blocks out back. I also decided to do a two tone look with a roll on bed liner on the rocker and I built a tent for camping. Let me know what you guys think.

I really like the color of your truck, thats well done. The wheels go well, its a good looking truck.
Personally, I wouldnt of cranked the t-bars and added rear blocks. You traded useful articulation in the front, for a few inches of height and bad cv and balljoint angles. Blocks in the rear really cant hurt anything, although they technically weaken the rear in terms of payload capacity and spring life. Thats arguable I guess. But overall its not a huge deal.
I'm not a hater though the truck looks cool!
What is that color? It looks like the flat green they paint some army vehicles...is that what you were going for? I bet a 3rd gen would look sick with that color too.

Yeah I painted it myself. It's a light olive green color their is a write up on it in the DIY section. I cranked the T-bars because I needed the extra clearance for off-roading last time i went i scraped many times. There is just no other option out there for us Dakota owners for a lift other than a 5 inch lift and I don't really want that much lift. If I don't like it I can always undo it at least.
sweet get up, wish i were able to have the opportunity to study abroad overseas but o well. i did the T-bar crank 3 years ago, no ill effects what so ever since. i wouldnt sweat it. as for the tent in your bed, how did you rig that up? id like to see more pics of that, even a DIY.

Regardless it think it looks sick, i might've gone a little darker with the paint but to each his own..
Best.
Yeah the color is a bit darker in real life my camera couldn't quite get the color right. I made the tent myself using pvc pipe and a canvas drop cloth from lowes hardware. It was pretty easy to set up just time consuming. I could do a write up if you all are interested.
Dude im not going to lie the roll on bed liner on the rockers looks pretty sweet. Plus it will offer protection from scratching and what not if you do a lot of off roading. I know I have a couple small dings that probably wouldn't be there if i had done that.
Awesome looking truck man.
Oh and where did you get the seat covers? I like them. No crappy looking like 95% of the seat covers out there.
