Default water leak.

i got a 98 dakota with the four banger and there is water leaking from the bell housing. its not runing around the bell housing, only out the bottom. so could there be a freeze plug on the back of the block that you cant get to unless you pull the trans or engine?

i believe there are two of them on the back. And yes, the motor must be pulled to access them.

Are you sure it's not condensation from your A/C, from a drain tube??

i replaced all the freeze plugs in the motor except the ones on the back a week ago cause they were rusting through. lol. i need to pull the motor anyway cause i got to change the flywheel and it needs some new gaskets as well.
